Landfall in Long Beach, near Ocean Blvd, or what's left of it. Cars to be moved as far towards Terminal Island as possible, ONTO Terminal Island if the bridges are still workable.

Priority for mechanic's class is buidling and reinforcing frames and chassis, turning cars into flatbeds. In that area of the city, a great number of cargo and container trucks, semis, flatbeds, and tractor trailer rigs are hopefully available for scrounging and scavenging, keeping a focus on stuff that is NOT in good working order. Eddie oversees the gathering and construction efforts, and spends his days trying to determine if any existing legal claims would otherwise interfere, survivors who own the land, the vehicles, etc. Priority is obviously given to those who actually show up to protest his use of the land or the mechanical scrap.

Goal is 15 working flatbed trailers, each at least 20 feet long by 8 feet wide, capable of carrying 18 tons each (pretty standard stuff, that would be two heavy shipping crates, or 8 midsize cars)
