Letter from the Black Fury Tribe

As well as secure phone calls and internet messages, a formal letter is sent to all caerns and tribal centers the Black Fury have direct knowledge of.

Sisters and Brothers, It is this day that we must inform you of the tragic loss of many of our Garou kin. We have been sent word by our Kinfolk that the two closest caerns to downtown Los Angeles have both been destroyed. Our Kinfolk have visited one, and the other was in the heart of Downtown. There are also two others that we have not been yet able to reach that may very well be destroyed also.

The caern our Kinfolk visited was once a Child of Gaia caern that was situated a mile and a half from the epicenter. All members are presumed dead at this point, as no living members were found when our Kinfolk arrived. We are sending members of our tribe to protect this caern and examine the state of the others. However, the way is cut off by all means but by foot. All moonbridges to those caerns have been destroyed, the roads are no longer useful, and travel by air risks a breach of the veil that would be unforgivable - as all but military and government aircraft have been grounded.

We ask this day for your help. We have several Kinfolk guarding the caern to the best of their abilities and a pack of Fostern on their way there as we speak. We also have several elder members making their way here from other states and countries, but our closest caern's moon bridges have been disrupted and the going is slow without local air travel.

We do not have the numbers to re-establish all four of these caerns. And while we understand that all tribes are spread thin in these last days, the protection of our sacred places must be upheld, no matter the cost. We ask only for a few garou from each tribe, to help secure these areas.

The message is signed with an ancient Black Fury symbol and the marks of several of the high ranking members of the tribe.
