Defenses

Many things need doing around the caern, and Anyone who does not have a valid excuse to leave is expected to be doing something. None of the caern elders seem particularly interested in baby sitting Cliath, though they will occasionally grab someone to do various menial tasks for them. Shatters-the-Mold and anyone helping her are handling physical defenses and physical layout. Off Switch and anyone helping him are working on technological and organizational defenses. Each alpha is expected to make sure their pack members are working on something appropriate for their skills.

If your characters have any specific abilities you'll be using them. Your character can be doing anything that seems useful. Garou at the caern are expected to help begin creating defenses, excavating, setting up living areas for the Garou, or any other useful skill they posses.

[Tells the Truth]

Eddie is like your shadow, you keep finding him quietly doing his own thing right behind you. Constantly involved in one of Off-Switch's projects, Eddie is everywhere, pulling bits of ruined pipe out of walls, sottering, bending. Turns out for all his hot air, he knows his way around machinery and fabrication pretty well. Anyone who spends more than 6 seconds actively listening to his constant muttering gets the impression that there isn't enough of whatever it is he's looking for, gathering, or tinkering with, and he keeps referring to his "shipment".

Near monday evening, Several unreguarded and otherwise useless dead ends in the caern are starting to fill up with Eddie's bizzare collection, which seems to consist of every pipe, cylindrical object, or hinge that he has managed to scrounge.

[Runs-on-Walls]

*He walks down to the bottom level of the Nursery and kicks open the front door.* "Lucy I'm Home." *He is wearing a construction hat, white shirt, blue jeans and bright red suspenders which only Gaia knows where he got it all from in this hell hole. He seems to be a poor representation of a movie construction worker. A two by four that looks like he might have taken it from the building next door is slung over his shoulder. He begins to go to work on repairing the Caern. He notices a large chunk missing from the side of the building about half way up. The structural weakness seems to be some concern to the Gnawer and true to his name he runs nearly straight up the side of the wall gripping every nook and cranny like the rat his tribe so lovingly takes as their totem. With a show of pure effort of willpower and strength he shoves the two by four into the missing chunk. The two by four seems to be the perfect size for the job. He leaps back down, brushing off his hands.. "Ah I just saved the entire Caern from almost certain doom. Well my job here is done, time for a sandwich."
