Sunday is a very busy day for the Glass Walker theurge known as Mike Rao. Anyone in the umbra who cares to pay attention notices him leaving visiting the kitchen and leaving the Caern several times each, as well as once visiting the Caern heart; anyone in the realm will see him visiting the kitchen about half a dozen times, the latter of which he can be seen carrying out heavy bags of various grains and rice to the main entrance of Caern. There, he sets up two small altars on either side of the entrance, far enough away from the main path that it is out of the way of foot traffic. After the altars are constructed, they are covered with large pieces of wood and aluminum. Furthermore, cones and caution tape are set up to keep people from accidentally walking into the altars and a sign is erected that states: "Do not approach without permission from Mike Rao." Afterwards, anyone still paying attention will notice Mike approach Shatter-the-Molds and ask, "'eya Rhya, apologies to bother, but do you mind if I make an announcement to let the people who don't know better that they shouldn't be killin' or pissin' off the roaches and rats they may see 'ere? "

Shatters the mold waves her hand dismissively, "Announce what you will, just don't interrupt anything or anyone that is important. If your not catching the meaning, don't bother your elders. We already know better than to go stomping large groups of possibly friendly creatures. And Dances-with-Fire has already talked to the spirits to find out what the fuck is going on. Though she didn't say it in so many words. Go on, go make sure people don't fuck up. And when you're done, Dances-with-Fire is looking to speak to you."

Given permission, Mike gets the attention of those present with a quick two-fingered whistle, clears his throat, and loudly announces, "411 for anyone who might not know: If you see any roaches or rats in the Caern, you are to leave them alone. Do not bother them, do not chase them away, and most importantly DO NOT harm them. Please pass this information on to the rest of your pack and those that you notice are not present right now - it is of upmost importance. Mille grazie."

Afterward, Mike heads down towards the Caern Heart once more. After an hour, anyone present in the umbra sees Mike leave the caern once more, returning after only a few minutes; in the realm, those may have the off chance of noticing Mike step sideways into the physical realm. Immediately thereafter, he searches the room and secures a wheel barrel and a couple large watering pails. A couple of quick conversations with a few kinfolk later, Mike can be seen leaving the caern in the physical realm with an entourage of several kinfolk, a female Black Fury, several large watering pails, and a wheel barrel full of fertilizer. Several trips are made over the next day and a half - almost all involving the wheel barrel, pails of water, fertilizer, and kinfolk. Several trips are made on Monday, but by midday wheel barrel activity has ceased. In the main hall of the Caern, Mike pulls out a laptop and begins working furiously on his keyboard. After about fifteen minutes, he begins to set up cameras and other various technological devices that anyone without adequate computer training would likely not recognize. The majority of what's left of Monday is spent installing what seems to be a surveillance system throughout the Caern proper and at any vital points that may be attacked.

Eddie Drives back into the neighborhood a few days after his abrupt departure, and brings with him a massive set of crates, full of food, most notably seasonings and the like, blankets, and a few other supplies.

"To help freshen up de taste of our staple diet, till I get regular supplies comin in heah."

These are taken directly to the Caern center, where Eddie waits around long enough to see that the elders are aware of the supplies, and that people are beginning to distribute them.

"Ok, more on de way, and I got other errands ta run, I will retoin."
