LA's business structure and internal affairs were completely destroyed with the November Earthquake. But all hope is not lost. Several new companies have found opportunities in the cheap and seemingly endless tracts of land available in Destroyed Downtown LA. Three large corporations have bought land in and around LA for various uses and are already providing jobs in the construction of their buildings.
As well, many corporations and non profit agencies are trying to help rebuild those buildings that are less damaged or integral to the areas they are in. One such notable project is that of the Downtown Memorial Hospital, which is being rebuilt and should be completed in the next month. As the only hospital left standing in that area of LA, it is a great boon to all those in who have returned to their homes. Generosity comes from many places this Holiday season.
